Can I save TikTok audio as MP3?
Yes. Paste an accessible public video link, choose Audio MP3, then prepare and save the file. The output is MP3 at 192 kbps. The video must have retrievable audio; photo-post music and silent videos are not supported.
Can I download TikTok videos without a watermark?
This tool saves the video source it can retrieve. It does not erase a watermark, creator text or a logo embedded in that source. Check the downloaded file; a watermark-free version is not guaranteed for every post.
Which video format should I choose?
MP4 with H.264 is the default for broad playback support. If HEVC is available, you can keep its video without converting. It can save space, but your player must support HEVC.
Can I download photos?
Yes. Paste a link to a public photo post. Each photo has its own download button and is saved as an image file, with no re-encoding.
Why is 1080p or 4K not listed?
The choices show the qualities found for this video. Higher resolutions appear only when a source at that resolution is available.
Does converting reduce the resolution?
We keep the selected pixel dimensions. Converting to H.264 can make the file larger and may introduce some compression loss. It does not add detail or upscale the video.
Which links can I use?
Use a full TikTok video or photo link, or a share link from vm.tiktok.com, vt.tiktok.com or tiktok.com/t/. A video ID also works when TikTok provides the post. Some links may fail or require verification on TikTok.
Save a TikTok video as MP4
Copy the post link from TikTok’s Share menu, paste it into the downloader, then select an available resolution. MP4 with H.264 is the default. A source that needs conversion can take longer to prepare; the download button appears when the file is ready.
A full address such as tiktok.com/@username/video/123, a vm.tiktok.com or vt.tiktok.com share link, and tiktok.com/t/ links are supported. A numeric video ID can work when TikTok returns the matching post. Copying the full link is usually the clearest option.
Download on iPhone or Android
Open SaveVidTik in your usual browser. If a link opened inside another app does not offer a file download, open the page in Safari or Chrome and try there. Keep the tab open while a video is being prepared.
After saving, check your browser’s Downloads list or the Files app. Downloaded media may not appear automatically in your photo library. Open the file and use your device’s sharing or save options when available.
When a public link does not download
Public visibility does not guarantee that TikTok will return a downloadable source. A deleted post, an access restriction, an expired link or a verification request can prevent a result. Open the original post to check that the link still works, then copy its full address.
